I have just finished this small bench made from an old reclaimed oak beam I sourced from a local antique shop.
It is a very simple design, held together with 2 x massive dovetail joints. These were hand cut and then the wood clamped together, it is a really tight fit so did not require any glue of fixtures.
The wood has been lightly sanded to clean it up, but not too much as I wanted to retain the lovely character of the oak.
The bench is a one seater it measures 60cm (24 inches) wide, 45cm (18 inches) high and 23cm (9 inches) deep.
I have just finished a new collection of one of a kind Wall Clocks.
The numerals are made from different vintage wooden rulers which are cut and glued to the clock face.
The body of the clocks are made from salvaged wood, each one has a distressed paint affect applied.
